Network services

A network service provides the capacity to connect to a network. Numerous hosting providers offer cloud-based hosting, which is based on the OSI seven-layer network protocol architecture. To name a few (VoIP).
Network-oriented applications, which include a wide variety of services such as file storage, manipulation, display, and communication, are programs that execute at the network application layer or above. Clients and servers, or peers, utilize application layer network protocols to offer a network service.
Most services are provided via a server component that runs on one or more computers and is accessible through client components that operate on other devices. It is OK to have the client and server components on the same machine in this instance.
